Facility security requirements
FSR was developed and created by TAPA security professionals in order to determine the way in which susceptible to theft merchandise are stored in facilities like - warehouses, manufacturing facilities, logistics and other. FSR determine the minimum acceptable security standards and methods that are used to maintain these standards. It outlines the processes and specifications of the service providers to achieve TAPA certification for its operations warehousing and storage. The intention of TAPA members is to select service providers that meet or exceed the requirements for TAPA certification. Successful implementation of the FSR depends on service providers (including any subcontractor used), TAPA certified auditors and clients of transport services to work together for the proper interpretation, adaptation and audit against these requirements.
